Exercise the Mind

Stretching as part of our Exercise the Body program is essential for the ability for the body to heal, but fighting any disease takes mental strength, too. From the first symptoms, through the process of healing, and well into remission, cancer patients will learn how to deal and cope with cancer by working on the strength of their mental state. Weekly meditation and relaxation techniques educate patients on how to focus, center, and to recognize emotions, while focusing on breathing and mindfulness.
